Preaching patience to hapless victim is an old trick of the powerful. The other day I saw a priliance exposes of this by our great intellectuals Mushahid Hussain and General Pervez Musharaf. They were addressing a congregation of O.I.C at Islamabad. The General was very articulate and specific. He advised the intellectuals of the Muslim Ummah to be patient. He enumerated the virtues of tolerance and patience so taught by our great religion. He condemned all forms of extremism and violence which he termed as a wave of terrorism. So far so good I was definitely with Mushahid Hussain and the General because any violence has never been sanctioned by our religion. Our is a religion of moderation and extremism has no place in Islam. Infect suicide is totally Harram (Forbidden) in Islam, so no scope for self emulation or suicider bombings

Through out their aliquant lectures I was wondering as to why General Musharaf has chosen this forum and preach which is already ingraint in the pschy of Musalmans. Saying enough he was trying to reinforce what has been in practice for the last fifteen hundred years in the Muslim Community. As he was aware that when Jerusalem was conquered by Musalman during the caliphat of Hazarat Umar, it was almost bloodless. Hazrat Umar was careful enough not to say his prayers in the Jewish worship place so that his followers may not in future make this into a tradition of forcibly occupying the worship places of the Non-Muslims. Does General Pervez Musharaf knows that after a few hundered years afterwards when Jerusalem fell to the crusaders there was a blood bath. Such books are authored by Christians and not Muslims. Hence authentic.

Though I am attempted to go into a long history but I will confine my self only to the present time. Does General Musharraf realize that the most violent and extremist state in the present world is that of Israel? The state of Isreal continues to kill the uprooted poor Palestinian almost daily through merciless straffin. The stone pelting by Palestinian children in always responded by merciless shelling and straffin from the helicopters.

May I ask here who is an extremist and violent Isreal or Arab states. May I ask General Pervez Musharaf is there any Muslim state presently backing the extremist violence? I am sure he will not be able to locate any organized Muslim state indulging in state terrorism. Infect the truth of the matter is that Israely extremism is openly backed by the president Bush of U.S.A., Mr. Blair the Prime Minister of England. Who is indulging in constant state terrorism in Kashmir? Of course India and it has the face to call itself secular. Who are butchering the Chechen Muslims daily? Of course Russian state backed by the United States of America. Who is butchering the innocent unarmed women and children in Afghanistan and Iraq? Is the ‘enlightened’ ‘moderate’ and ‘civilized’ United States of America with her total weight of unparallel destruction.

May I ask Mr. Mushahid Hussain and General Pervez Musharaf as to why they are not preaching the basic principle of a civilized conduct to these individuals and states from where terrorism re-originating.

O my dear General terrorism is originating from the west and not the east why do you address to O.I.C? You should preach all this to the west. You choose the east where terrorism is the least. Very strange.
